Angiography

Procedure Description:

An angiogram is a minimally invasive procedure used to visualize your blood vessels. A long, thin catheter is inserted into an artery and contrast solution is injected. Rapid sequences of x-rays are then taken so that the vascular system can be visualized on a monitor.

An angiogram provides your physician with very accurate information about the condition of your blood vessels.
