Procedure Description:

Following a consultation with one of our interventional radiologists, procedures are performed when medically indicated. Interventional radiology procedures are performed by radiologists who specialize in interventional and minimally invasive procedures. Using radiologic images to guide their procedures, Spectrum interventional radiologists insert thin catheters and other tiny instruments through the blood vessels and other pathways of the body to treat a wide variety of conditions that once required surgery. Interventional radiologists have specialized training in interventional and minimally invasive procedures. Our interventional radiologists perform procedures at Maine Medical Center,Eastern Maine Medical Center and Spectrum Medical Group Office. Following is a list of our interventionalists:
